Where the Hanok Village crowds thin out to the south, low-roofed lanes begin. The neighborhood still looks like the 1980s and 90s, so a gallery sign appears beside a front gate and a workshop behind a wall. Murals and artworks make an easy hour of wandering. Toward dusk the lanes go quiet.
