Treasure No. 583, an old guesthouse with a huge plaque

This was the guesthouse where envoys and officials were received in Joseon times. Treasure No. 583. The plaque Pungpaejigwan marks its link with the founder’s hometown. Officials also paid respects to the king here before a ceremonial tablet. In front of it a busy street of shops and restaurants runs on. It is about 15 minutes on foot from the hanok village and close to Jeolla Gamyeong.
