At 1,330m on the Baekdudaegan ridge, this is said to be the highest pass in Korea that you can reach by car. Larch forest lines the road and wildflowers spill along the verges in summer. A few steps down a forest path from the car park and the heat just drops away. Wildflowers peak in July and August.
