Founded, tradition says, by the monk Jajang on the slopes of Mt. Hambaeksan. Behind the main hall, the Jeokmyeolbogung shrine and the Sumano pagoda sit up the hillside. The stairs to the pagoda are steep, but the valley opens out below once you reach it. A clear stream runs past the temple front.
