It stands alone on the plain beside Pyeonghwa-ro and is easy to spot from far off. The round trip to the top takes under an hour, so it counts as one of the easier western oreum. In autumn silvergrass covers the whole cone. From the top you see Hallasan, the western fields and the sea. Climbing at sunset catches the light on the ridge.
