At the end of a pine-shaded path you look over the cliff and there it is, a single pillar of rock in the sea with a few stubborn pines on top, like a tuft of hair. The path is part of Jeju Olle Trail 7, so after the rock you can keep walking west along the cliffs to the Dombenang path and views of Beomseom island. Go near sunset, when the water around Munseom and Beomseom turns orange.
