A national museum with finds from Jeju’s prehistory to the Joseon era. You can see pottery used on the island, haenyeo diving tools and the stone grandfather figures called dol hareubang. The permanent exhibition is free, so it is a good light stop on a rainy day. The Sarabong walking trail starts right behind it. It fits easily into a half day in Jeju City.
