The village association leased Myeongwol primary school, empty for nearly 30 years, and opened it as a café in September 2018. Classrooms are split into a café room, a goods room and a gallery room, so you collect your drink and open doors down the corridor. The restored 70-year-old wooden floor creaks with every step, and the blue entrance door is where everyone takes photos. The grass schoolyard is still there for kids to run around, and profits go back to the village.
