The forest holds nutmeg yew trees that are 500 to 800 years old. Flat dirt paths and boardwalks make it easy for any age. The trunks twist together and in places you barely see the sky. A full loop takes under an hour. On rainy days the smell of the forest is stronger and there are fewer people.
