Jecheon itineraries
Jecheon by Train in a Day
A little over an hour from Cheongnyangni on the KTX-Eum. Start with radish-green rice by the station, loop the pines at Uirimji, then head home with red odeng and rice cakes from the market. Two taxi rides, no car needed.
Two Days on Cheongpungho
The cable car, heritage village, cruise and suspension bridge all sit on the lakeshore south of town. Sleep at a lakeside resort and the water is still on the second morning. Best with a car.
Jecheon in Three Days
Day one is downtown and herbs, day two the forests and mountain pass to the west, day three the Woraksan valley and lake cliffs. A different bed each night keeps it fresh.
