When the Chungju Dam flooded the old Cheongpung district, its buildings were moved up the hill. Government halls, pavilions, tiled houses and thatched cottages stand on a slope above the lake. Walking from one to the next feels like touring a whole village. It sits close to the cable car station, so the two pair well.
