A valley where persecuted Catholics settled; the name Baeron comes from its boat-bottom shape. A cave dwelling where Hwang Sa-yeong hid and wrote his silk letter has been recreated, and you can see the first seminary in Korea, St. Joseph. Allow about an hour, longer if you walk the Way of the Cross.
