The museum gathers how people in deep mountain villages ate, dressed and got by. Tools for burning and tilling hillside plots, the steps from hemp plant to woven cloth, and the gathering of herbs and wild greens follow one after another. The captions are easy, so children stay interested too. It often gets paired with a trip to the birch forest.
