This is where the Japanese and Qing settlements stood after Incheon opened as a port in 1883. Old stone and brick bank buildings survive along the road and now serve as museums and exhibition halls. The stairs that once divided the Qing and Japanese concessions climb toward Jayu Park. The Open Port walking route starts at Incheon Station and lets you tick off the buildings one by one. It is short enough to fit into half a day.
