On a low hill, the grounds of a Baekje royal palace spread out with a single five-story stone pagoda in the middle. A loop along the old palace wall takes about an hour. Cherry blossoms bloom in spring, and in the evening lights come on for a night view. It is a World Heritage site. Stopping at the Baekje Royal Palace Museum first makes the empty ground read very differently.
