The narrow strait to Jindo, Uldolmok, runs right below you. Its name means "crying passage" for the sound the water makes squeezing through. In 1597 Admiral Yi Sun-sin fought here with that current at his back. The park gathers the Myeongnyang Victory Monument, the Chungmusa shrine and an exhibition hall on the battle. From the skywalk you can watch the water swirl.
