Hadong itineraries
A day on the Hwagae tea road
Start at the market, walk up through the cherry-tree tunnel to the temple, then wind down in a cafe among the tea fields. First time in Hadong? This one valley is enough.
Akyang fields to the southern sea
Day one is the pine forest on the Seomjin and the Pyeongsa-ri plain; day two rides a cable car out to the sea. Proof that Hadong is big even without the Hwagae valley.
Around the Jirisan valleys
Sleep in the Hwagae valley, cross the mountain to the stone towers of Samseonggung and Hadong Lake, and end at the sea. It covers nearly every stop on the county's own three-day route.
