Near Ssangyesa in Unsu-ri stands the monument to where tea was first planted in Korea. Bamboo rings the fields, and tea grown in that dew is called bamboo-dew tea. Wild tea fields stretch from the market to beyond Ssangyesa. Picking season starts around late April.
