A hanok village built as the landowner estate from the novel Toji. Sit on the veranda of the main hall and the Akyang plain lies flat below like a painting, with the Seomjin River and Jirisan beyond. The thatched lanes are short, an hour at an easy pace. You do not need to have read the book to lose time on the courtyard.
