The temple sits high up the Jirisan slopes. The Aja-bang is a Korean ondol room split into raised and sunken parts in an 'A' shape, a national folk heritage site. It is said to stay warm long after one firing. It has been opened only for set periods, so check access first. The mountain drive is half the show.
