Two clans, the Wolseong Son and the Yeogang Yi, have lived here for more than 500 years. It was added to the UNESCO list in 2010 together with Hahoe village. Tiled houses and thatched cottages step up the hillside, and people still live in them. Large houses such as Mucheomdang, Hyangdan and Gwangajeong sit on the ridges. Give yourself two to three hours to walk it.
