The crescent-shaped hill that gave Wolseong its name was the site of Silla's royal palace. Now it is a grassy ridge with an ice storehouse and traces of the old walls, still being excavated and restored. A loop from Woljeonggyo gives views over the city. Rapeseed blooms in early spring and silvergrass covers the slope in autumn.
