The lanes along Daereungwon's wall are lined with cafés, small shops and restaurants in converted hanok, block after block. Buy a box of Hwangnam-ppang, wander for a while, then rest in whichever café has a seat. It can easily fill half a day. The alleys are narrow and become crowded on weekend afternoons.
