A five-storey lighthouse modelled on the Gameunsa pagodas stands at the end of Gampo harbour's breakwater. It began as an unmanned light in 1955, and its lower floors now hold a light-themed exhibition. Old pines surround it, with a wooden boardwalk along the sea. It pairs well with the Munmu Daewang tomb on an East Coast drive.
