Gwangju itineraries
Yangnim to Geumnam-ro
Down by KTX and back the same night, walking the heart of Gwangju: Yangnim-dong lanes, the ACC, Geumnam-ro of May 1980, and a pot of duck soup to finish.
May 18 and Mudeungsan
Day one runs from tteokgalbi to the May 18 cemetery and a night out in Dongmyeong-dong; day two climbs Mudeungsan along the Jeungsimsa valley. One day each for the two things that explain Gwangju.
Wide Gwangju, into Damyang
Parks and cafes in Sangmu, the museum belt in Buk-gu and Soswaewon in Damyang, then Yangnim-dong and the ACC on the last morning. Two nights that circle the whole city, best with a car.
