Missionary houses, hanok and old churches follow the slope of this hill. Lee Jang-woo House is a hanok said to date from 1899, often compared with the nearby Choi Seung-hyo House. Woo Il-seon House is described as the oldest Western-style house left in Gwangju. The lanes tangle, so wandering without a map works. Some buildings are not open inside.
