Gwangju city buses reach the foot of this mountain, and once you climb to Jangbuljae the scenery changes completely. At Ipseokdae and Seoseokdae, hexagonal stone columns stand like a folding screen. They are protected natural monuments, so no touching or leaning. Starting from Jeungsimsa means a long forest climb, so bring water and snacks. Entry is free.
