Set on the western foot of Mudeungsan, the temple has Obaekjeon, said to be the oldest surviving temple building on the mountain. The approach follows a stream, so it is a good place to catch your breath before a hike. Trails continue into the forest, and plenty of people just walk a short loop. Barley-rice restaurants line the entrance.
