It became the first public arboretum registered in Jeonnam. Thirteen themed gardens run one after another, among them an azalea garden, a spring-fragrance garden and a shade garden, plus a greenhouse and a seed learning centre. Each garden blooms on its own schedule, so the season seems to shift as you walk. Magnolias and daffodils make spring the busy time, and it pairs well with the cornelian cherry villages for a full day.
