An old clan manor in Sado-ri on the Jirisan foothills. Past the gate a 5,000-pyeong garden unfolds with a bamboo path, stone walls and a small pond. The entry fee comes with a welcome tea such as plum tea, which you drink sitting on the wooden floor. No overnight stays now, only the garden and the tea. It photographs best when the plum trees bloom.
