The hermitage clings to the rock face on top of Osan like a swallow nest. From the railing in front of Yaksajeon the Gurye plain and the Seomjin River spread out like a single painting. Locals say it grants one wish, so people linger at the rock. Come near sunset and the fields turn orange. Walking up takes about an hour of hard breathing, so most people ride the shuttle from the village.
