Of Jirisan three main peaks, this is the easiest to reach from Seongsamjae. It is about 4.7 km one way, a bit over an hour, mostly gentle. The final 500 m from the pass to the summit is open only to those with a reservation. On clear days, clouds spread out below like a sea. In autumn the silver grass joins in.
