A quiet old temple beside a reservoir

Founded in 828 and counted among the three great temples of Jirisan. Round the reservoir and you reach grounds far quieter than Hwaeomsa. Ssanghwa tea is the temple's regular order, and many stop for a cup. The paths are short, so it is an easy loop. It sits on the road to Nogodan, so it pairs naturally with a Jirisan drive.
