Wolmyeong-dong, Gunsan

The tunnel is 131 m long and 4.5 m high. The Japanese colonial government cut it in 1926 to haul rice down to Gunsan's inner harbour; today it is a protected heritage site you can simply walk through. The walls are rough cement and stone under your hand. At the far end the view opens toward the sea at Haemang-dong. The seafood market nearby makes an easy pairing.
