The main hall sits low under a plain roof, with none of the painted eaves of a Korean temple. Its Edo-period lines are Japanese through and through, and the hall is joined to the monks' quarters by a corridor, which is rare here. In the yard stands a monument put up by Japanese monks who apologised for their order's part in colonial rule. Inside sits a Shakyamuni triad made in 1650.
