The whole island, about 4km off Geoje, is a garden. Off the boat, paths climb the western hill past subtropical plants and sculpture, and the sea shows up at every turn. Your time ashore is fixed at roughly an hour and a half, so slow walkers feel the clock. On windy days the boats may not run at all.
