Step off the Gyeongchun Line at Daeseong-ri and the Bukhan River is right there. Walking paths, a wooded trail and picnic grounds follow the bank, and a deck halfway along gives shade and a river view. In spring cherry petals fall across the path, and cyclists on the Bukhangang bike route often stop by. There is also a boat dock and a campground. It works as a day trip by train from Seoul.
