This is the restored site of the guesthouse and government office where visiting officials stayed from the Goryeo to the Joseon era. The Imyeonggwan Samun gate at the entrance is a National Treasure, one of the few left in Goryeo style. Inside stand rebuilt halls such as the Donghyeon and Chilsadang. It lies in the middle of the city, so it is a good place to rest on a walk, and entry is free. You can follow on into the cafés of the Myeongju-dong lanes.
