Bamboo and the Avenue in a Day

Everything sits inside Damyang-eup, so you can do this without a car. Bamboo in the morning, noodles for lunch, the metasequoia avenue and the Provence village in the afternoon, tteokgalbi for dinner.

A Day of Bamboo, a Day of Gardens

Day one takes Damyang-eup slowly; day two heads south to three literati gardens and the stone-walled lanes of Changpyeong. Sleep at Meta Provence and the avenue at night comes free.

Damyang Loop with Hot Springs

Two nights at the hot-spring resort below Damyang Lake, with a day each for the northern valley, the town's bamboo, and the southern gardens and Changpyeong. Easy walking, hot baths at night.
