Siyeongjeong Pavilion
식영정
The lakeside pavilion behind Jeong Cheol's Seongsan Byeolgok
- Hours
- 9am-6pm
- Address
- 859 Gasamunhak-ro; 3 minutes on foot from the Gasa museum
Kim Seong-won built it for his teacher Im Eok-ryeong, who gave it its name. Im, Kim, Ko Gyeong-myeong and Jeong Cheol composed poems about the view and were called the Four Immortals of Siyeongjeong. Those poems fed into Jeong Cheol's gasa, Seongsan Byeolgok. From the pavilion you look out over woods toward the lake. It is right beside the Gasa museum, so the two read as one story.
