Two rows of metasequoias shoot straight up on either side of a dead-straight road. The trees were planted in the 1970s and are now several storeys tall, which is how that famous photo of the lines converging at one point happens. It has been named one of Korea's most beautiful roads and got a boost after a TV drama shot here. Green summer is nice, but the rust-orange weeks from late October to early November draw the biggest crowds. Near the entrance there are family attractions such as a children's Provence play area and a climate-change exhibit.
