A stone fortress along the Geumseongsan ridge, counted as one of the three great mountain fortresses of the Honam region. It was first built in the Three Kingdoms era and rebuilt after the Imjin War, then burned in the 1894 Donghak uprising. Only four gates give access. From the top you see the Damyang plain, Mudeungsan, Chuwolsan and Damyang Lake. A full circuit of the walls takes around two hours, a short loop about one.
