Daegu itineraries
Old Lanes to Jjimgalbi
Downtown Daegu fits inside a single subway stop: the cathedral hill, lanes that smell of herbal medicine, market noodles, Kim Kwang-seok songs, and a spicy finish of braised ribs in Dongin-dong.
A Day on Palgongsan, a Day Downtown
Day one works the legs with a cable car and the Gatbawi stairs; day two slows down around parks and Suseong Lake. Buses and the subway cover everything, no rental car.
Rides, Temples and Night Views
One day of rides at E-World and Apsan, one day driving out to Haeinsa and Biseulsan, and a last day cooling off in museums. Three dinners of Daegu food: gopchang, mungtigi raw beef and pufferfish bulgogi.
