A large temple at the foot of Mt. Gayasan, home to the Tripitaka Koreana woodblocks. The blocks are stored in the Janggyeong Panjeon halls; you cannot enter, but you can look through the slatted windows at the racks. The grounds are wide and quiet, reached along a forest path. A UNESCO World Heritage site, and a common day trip from Daegu.
