The reconstructed birthplace of the novelist Kim Yu-jeong and a small memorial hall stand in Sillae Village, where he grew up. Sit on the veranda under the thatch and the countryside scenes from his stories come easily. Across the road, a story house follows his short life with video and models. The Sillae Story Trail loops through the village behind it. It is close to Gimyujeong Station, so a train works well.
