A lakeside loop on a quiet reservoir

A reservoir tucked against the foot of Mt. Uamsan on the east side of town. A walking path runs along the water, with a few cafes and restaurants beside it. Go around sunset when the water changes color. The zoo and the National Museum Cheongju are close, and some hikers continue over Sangbongjae pass to Sangdang Fortress.
