Cheonan itineraries
Independence Hall and Byeongcheon in a day
Arrive by train, grab a bag of walnut cakes, ride out to Byeongcheon for sundae soup, walk the Independence Hall maple road, cut through the sculpture square by the terminal and finish with ramen. One day that covers what Cheonan does best.
Family night at Sono Belle
Day one is easy: the giant Buddha, dumplings and the sculpture square, then the water park at night. Day two is the Independence Hall shuttle and sundae soup in Byeongcheon. A two-day drive built for a family with kids.
Three days by train
Base yourself at a hotel beside Cheonan Station and get around by bus and taxi. Day one is the city, day two hikes Heukseongsan down to the Independence Hall and on to Byeongcheon, day three is the Gwangdeoksa walnut tree and ramen in Buldang-dong. Cheonan without a car.
