Every autumn cars queue for one road. Maples planted along both sides of the fire road around the grounds meet overhead and form a red tunnel about 3.2km long. A full loop takes roughly an hour. Afterward the exhibition halls pick up the story of the independence movement, so you get a walk and a history lesson in one stop. Colour starts around mid-October and lasts to mid-November.
