Said to be built under King Mu of Baekje, this is Korea's oldest man-made pond. A small pavilion, Poryongjeong, sits on an island in the middle, with willows shading the edges. In summer the water turns into a lotus field and the Seodong Lotus Festival is held here. Out of season it is still an easy loop for an evening walk. There is no entrance fee.
