This is the beach that gets photographed most in Busan. The sand runs about 1.5 km, and a wall of hotels and apartment towers rises right behind it. In summer parasols cover the sand, and the May sand festival brings giant sculptures. Off-season you still find walkers and beginner surfers. Walk toward Dongbaekseom around sunset when the light is softest.
